Fruit and nut steel-cut oats – Revised

steel-cut oats
1 tsp

chopped pitted dates
1/2 cup
dried cranberries
1/2 cup
toasted sunflower seeds, or chopped walnuts (optional)


  • COMBINE oats with salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in slow cooker insert. Stir in water. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low.
  • STIR in milk, sugar, dates and cranberries. Scoop into bowls and sprinkle with seeds or walnuts.
