2/3 cup
chopped kimchi
2 tbsp
thinly sliced green onion
2 tsp
toasted sesame seeds

Bulgogi sauce

1/4 cup
chopped onion
1-in. piece
fresh ginger, chopped
2 tbsp
1 tbsp
dry sherry or apple juice
1 tbsp
low-sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp

  • COMBINE onion with garlic, ginger, honey, sherry, soy and sesame oil in a food processor. Purée until smooth. Scrape into a medium saucepan. Boil over medium-high until mixture thickens slightly, 3 to 5 min.
  • ADD grilled hot dogs to sauce and turn to coat. Let stand 4 min.
  • ARRANGE hot dogs on buns. Spoon more sauce on dogs, then top with kimchi, green onion and sesame seeds.

Kitchen tips: This recipe makes enough for 8 hot dogs. We recommend the hot dogs be grilled and the buns toasted (for best results).

Homemade kimchi: If you can’t find it in stores, try our recipe at home.
